Christmas Storms and Sunshine

Christmas Storms And Sunshine is the title of the story this following essay is going to talk about. The first objective of this text is to determinate whether there is any relationship between any values whatsoever with what happens.

Also another objective is to me to provide my exclusive and personal point of view of the things and events that happened along all the reading.

First, this story does not provide any information about the settings of where and at what time this could have ever happened. But it establishes that it was the Victorian Era.

This specific society is characterized, according to what the reading says,  by the people's attitude of being intolerant with each other and also to determine the status just by the quantity of the things you had or the money you earned or owned, thing that personally I find disgusting because life is very much appart from the things you get the chance to own.

The story is about the problem the two wife's of both families have. The Jenkins and Hodgons.

They both aspired to have the same quality of life , before they had to work for different newspapers that bashed each other. But before the quarrel they were close friends.

It all started because the first family the Jenkins did not have kids, and the Hodgons did a little baby, at this time having kids was a thing that  increased your status.
So there was some jealousy from Mrs Jenkins towards Mary.

Keeping up with the story there are very important events that I find crucial that lead to the moral I will provide later on the text.

First, somehow the cat of the Jenkins snekead into where the baby's food was and ate it. Mary Hodgons was overwhelmed and filled by anger and then she did not think and beat the cat to the point of almost killing it.
Then Jenkins at the momentum she discovered this tried to talk to Mary and her just slammed the door at her face.
All this happen because they live in very close places.

But the story turns out very blue when the baby of Mary gets very sick of a respiratory disease.
However this situation gets eased when Mrs Jenkins gets to help Mary  with boiling water for the baby to breath and his life to be safe.

This proves that although this two women have their issues and differences, Jenkins showed her that she is still loyal whatever the circumstances are.
So then this issue was solved.

Days right after this situation, Mary receives a very special gift from her mother that is along with a letter where her mother just expresses what was her feelings and they are just yearning for the memories when they used to spend the special holidays together. Mary feels very touched about this and just starts to reflect about everything.

This very long and plot twisting story It basically ends with the two families , The Jenkins and the Hodgons family being mature enough to put their differences apart talking about the wives, the husband's just got into communication again  and just sharing a good time together just as they used too do in past years.

The moral of all of this is to be aware of the real important things and to do not let things just exacerbate, try to find a solution in order to peace be the one ruling everything situation might be presented. To always be a tolerant person with everyone because we all humans desert the same respect because despite of whatever thing we can own all of us have feelings tahr can be hurted.
